What are some of the coolest new games coming to Nintendo Switch?

It’s been a while since the Nintendo Switch was launched in the US, but the console still has a number of notable games in the pipeline, including the upcoming Yoshi’s Woolly World.

But the biggest name on the way to the Switch is probably Super Mario Odyssey, the third installment of the popular Mario series.

The Switch’s launch was originally scheduled for October 21, but it was pushed to December 8.

As for the rest of the Nintendo lineup, the company is reportedly adding several titles to the system’s lineup in the coming months.

The company also revealed a new console to be called the Nintendo NX, which will launch in March.

So what are some games you should be playing on the Switch when it’s released?

It’s easy to get caught up on the excitement surrounding the Nintendo Direct earlier this week.

You may not be able to buy a Nintendo Switch at a store, but Nintendo is promising you a lot of games for free.

Here are a few that are on the horizon, according to the company:  Super Mario Odyssey: The first-ever Mario game on the Nintendo platform, Super Mario World is slated for release on March 10.

It’ll be available on the Wii U, 3DS, and Nintendo Switch. 

Kirby Super Star: Nintendo is bringing Kirby Super Star to Switch as a free download. 

Wario Land: Wii U owners will be able play Wario Land for free in March, with the first wave of titles available on March 16. 

Madden NFL 18: With Madden NFL 18 being released on March 19, it will be available to download for free on March 29. 

Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire: Pokémon is coming to Switch on March 31, with Pokémon Omega Ruby (a free download) and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire (a subscription-based purchase) on April 6. 

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: Konami is releasing the first DLC pack for Mario Kart 8 on March 30, with all DLC available for free until March 31. 

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: This upcoming 3DS title will be free to download on March 22, and all DLC will be released free until April 1. 

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch: These upcoming games will be on sale for free through March 28, and will be coming to both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS. 

Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire – Pokemon will be added to the Nintendo eShop on March 25. 

Star Fox Zero: Zelda fans are going to be able download Star Fox Zero free of charge starting March 30. 

Battlefield 1: Battlefront 2 will be a free-to-play title available through March 25 on both Nintendo 3D and Nintendo Wii U. Dragon Quest Heroes: DragonQuest Heroes: The Sacred Stones of Aria DLC will launch on March 28. 

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc will be the next free-subscription game available for download on Nintendo Switch on April 7. 

New Super Mario Bros. 2: New Mario Bros.: The Great Challenge DLC will come to Switch from March 30 through April 6 for free, and it’ll be a full free-payload DLC pack on April 12. 

Watch Dogs 2: Watch Dogs 2 is coming out on April 10, with a free DLC pack coming to the game on April 14. 

Yoshi’s Wooyoung: You may not have heard about Yoshi’s World coming to Wii U and 3DS before now, but there’s no doubt the game is a game you’ll want to check out. 

This game is scheduled for release sometime in the next year on March 15, and you can buy the game from the Nintendo Download Store. 

Final Fantasy XV: Final Fantasys newest expansion will be exclusive to Nintendo 3Ds and 3ds XL. 

For those who want a free copy of Yoshi’s Story, Square Enix is bringing the game to Nintendo e-Shop in April. 

Sonic Forces: Sega is bringing Sonic Forces to Nintendo Wi-Fi, 3ds, and 3D in April, with more titles to be announced. 

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain: MetalGear Solid V will be arriving on March 18, and there will be more details to come on April 18. 

Splatoon 2: The newest version of the Pokemon franchise is scheduled to be released on April 24. 

Minecraft: Story Mode: Minecraft will be bringing its world to Nintendo Wii and 3Ds in April for free for all players. 

ZombiU: Zombie Studios has been teasing Zombi U for a while, and now it’s coming to a Nintendo console in April with all of the DLC packs on offer. 

Monster Hunter Generations: Monster Hunters Generations is scheduled on March 23.
